Park Improvements
Many of you might remember our campground as Five Star Resort. Tim and Lynn Carlson have purchased the resort since then and we are now called TLC Wolf River Resort (hence the TLC in TLC Wolf River Resort!). Tim and Lynn are extremely excited to be the new owners, and are making it their primary goal to improve the condition of the park and its facilities!
We want you to know just how hard we are working on the park, so below is a compilation of projects that we have already completed or that we intend to complete in the near future. Also, please leave a comment in our guestbook if you have any recommendations for things that will help make the park nicer!
We hope to have first class facilities and a wide variety of activities and events for our guests to enjoy in the next few years.

Volleyball/Bad mitten Court
We put a volleyball court in the front of the park. We have balls and rackets if you need them. Time to get that daily workout!

Fishing Piers
You can thank Uncle Ron for building us a couple fishing piers! Katrina took them out, but now they are finally back! Make good use of them, even if you just wanna watch a gator!

Paved Entryway
We decided to pave the entryway to the park because it is so susceptible to pot holes. It's not the whole park, but it's a start! We want to see how well it holds up against the elements.

The Wood Carving
Permanent site owner Everitt Smith donated this awesome wood carving to our park as a way of saying thanks for the improvements we've made. The tree it was carved out of is over two hundred years old. At its tallest point, the carving is about fifteen feet high. It's very impressive and you all should get over here to check it out!

50 Amp Sites
Since January, we have upgraded to 50 amp, full hook-up sites. Of course we are still going to keep a handful of 30 amp, full hook-up sites for RVers with smaller energy needs.

Propane
We now have a license to sell propane! There are several people here who are certified to fill your tank for you!

Graveled Driveways and Concrete Patios
We are improving our campsites. We have made concrete patios for you to enjoy and also graveled driveways for your convenience! ***New*** We have added even more graveled sites along the bayou! They turned out really nice!

Club House Improvements
We have made a several improvements to the club house in the past year. There's a big screen TV in there now, and we installed a nice kitchenette so you and your friends can cook and enjoy lunch while watching some football. We also got a Coca-Cola vending machine now, and we have put some exercise equipment in the club house as well. We just recently put DirecTV in there too!

2 Hole Par 3 Golf Course
Ok so maybe it's not a professional golf course, but we keep the grass cut low and we have a couple fun holes to play. We will make improvements on it next spring. We are also talking about making a putt putt course!

Stump Grinding
We have ground out all the stumps that were left behind for us from Katrina!

Ice Machine
We finally got an ice machine on the park! It's a must have for the hot Mississippi summers we get down here. We are selling it for $2.25 for a 10 pound bag.

General Store
We are in the process of figuring out what it will take to put a general store on our campground. Our hope is that we can stock food, beverages, medicine, toiletries, and all other necessities you might need while you are staying with us. We hope to have an ice machine in the store as well.

Improved Boat Launch
We hope to re-slab the boat launch so that it is wider and easier to use. This project's priority is based on how many people use the boat launch, so make sure to bring your boat when you come. The Wolf River is a blast and has great fishing! From our boat launch, it is only six miles to the gulf!

New Clubhouse
We really want to rebuild our clubhouse, making it more spacious and comfortable. With a new clubhouse, further improvements are endless. New couches, a pool table, a foosball table, and video games are all ideas that have been tossed around.

The Bridge
The bridge leading to Wolf River Island was destroyed in the hurricane. We want to rebuild the bridge with a walking trail for the adventurous!

Canoe and Paddle Boat Rentals
We want to have canoes to use for the river and bayou, as well as a couple paddle boats for the pond.

Outdoor Pavilion
A nice, communal outdoor area where we can have BBQ's, cook offs, and celebrations.
